How Were "Reese's Peanut Butter Cups" Named?
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are peanut butter-filled chocolate cups. They were created in approximately 1928 by H. B. Reese, a former dairy farmer and shipping foreman for Milton S. Hershey. Reese established the H. B. Reese Candy Co. in the basement of his house in Hershey, Pennsylvania, which went on to merge with The Hershey Company in 1963 due to the ever-growing popularity of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
